Immediately upon receiving news about the devastation in Haiti, Praying Pelican Missions placed an order to have their site fitted to offer trips and take donations for Haiti aid by the next day. Sure enough, the kindness of people and willingness to help showed through from that morning over the next weeks as they booked over 25 trips to help the people of Haiti.
Praying Pelican Missions has been going through some big changes this Spring. Since the tragedy in Haiti, they’ve been scrambling to train to be ready to help provide aid there this summer. All of these site changes come along with regular enhancements.
Some changes coming soon center around the Trip Journals. Trip Journals are a system where teams that are out in the world can communicate and share photos with their families back at home. Some enhancements are top secret as of right now, but integration with social networks such as Facebook will be added.
